Artist’s Statement:

“Quarry Land
For me the stone heritage of the Isle of Purbeck is reflected in the landscape. The profile of hills on the horizon, the sea beyond, rock piles and dinosaur-like machines that claw them from the beds below. Close inspection shows the lichen surface and age related colour of the rocks. The Isle of Purbeck has so much to offer – this is just a small part of it.”
