Artist’s Statement:

“I’m a Dorset-based illustrator creating bright, playful work inspired by the world around me. My illustrations draw on daily life, travel, and the charm of Dorset itself, exploring people, buildings, and everyday scenes that often go unnoticed. I work in watercolour and ink, often adding digital details, combining traditional and modern techniques to bring colour, texture and personality to familiar places.

I am self-taught and particularly enjoy painting the buildings that make up the Purbecks and also the communities within them. I’m inspired both by my travels and by the area I’ve grown up in and know so well. Through my illustrations, I hope to encourage people to pause, notice the small joys of everyday life, and appreciate the charm of the area in which we live.”
