Artist’s Statement:

I was born and grew up within the Isle of Purbeck and have always had a great love and respect of the area. I have spent many years working hard on my paintings and drawings using many different media and subjects being inspired by the nature and landscape around me. I am fairly new to hand built pottery and ceramics which has been my main focus over the last few years but the challenges in this are constant and the excitement of creation from clay is so satisfactory. I never thought I would love getting my hands dirty or see beauty in what can be hand made but I certainly do now.
