Artist’s Statement:

“Ian and Gail are established Purbeck-based glass artists known for their original glass artworks and contemporary 2 and 3D forms. Drawing on over fifteen years of expertise, they create pieces for homes and gardens that explore the interaction of colour, light, reflection, space, and structure. Their layered glass compositions reveal a subtle yet powerful presence, transforming as light moves through them and inviting thoughtful, unhurried viewing.
Private commissions allow clients to collaborate closely with the artists, shaping bespoke designs that reflect personal preferences. Studio visits are welcomed, offering insight into their creative process and the expressive possibilities of glass. In addition to their sculptural work, Ian and Gail produce bespoke pieces for walls kitchens and bathrooms as well as glass and silver jewellery, crafting individual lampwork beads from Italian glass in the flame.
