Commission Opportunity: Sound Artist – Made by the Sea

Creating an Ever-Changing Ocean Soundscape

Purbeck Art Weeks (PAW) invites applications from sound artists, composers and musicians to create an original immersive soundscape for Made by the Sea, a major community arts installation exploring ocean waste, creativity and environmental awareness.

We are seeking an artist to compose an ambient/generative soundscape that continually evolves throughout the day. Rather than a traditional soundtrack, we are looking for a composition of multiple layers of music, natural sounds and textures, that flow together but never repeat in exactly the same way. Like tides, currents and drifting debris, the soundscape should remain in constant, subtle flow.
