Artist’s Statement:

It’s about subtracting and adding mostly; making ideas and textures variously intertwine into expression. Images eventually emerge from the surface. I hope above all that these paintings can be a springboard: sparking an emotion, a memory, a story, a perception and be relevant to those who see them.
