Artist’s Statement:

“Sinead finds inspiration in nature. Using acrylics on canvas, she alters the paint’s consistency and the acrylics flow and blend together, creating interesting patterns and details that reflect patterns found in the natural world. Creating paintings full of vibrancy and movement that overflow with the energy of the natural world. With the vibrant blues of the ocean waves to deep greens of a magical forest the beautiful blending of colours is a feature throughout her work.

Since having children, Sinead has also found herself drawn to paint in watercolours where she has created her own whimsical animal characters that take adventures around Purbeck. Inspired by her own family adventures and her children’s love of animals, these paintings have a light-hearted fun feeling to them that she hopes make people smile and bring back memories of some favourite places.”
